Boylan Root Beer has a rich and spicy sassafras flavor, thanks to its blend of cinnamon, anise, black pepper, mushroom, sweet birch, extracts of chocolate and coffee, vanilla, and wintergreen oil. Sounds complex, but the end result is an authentic, traditional tasting root beer with only a subtle creamy note.

Taste Great With

This is a hard one, as our Root Beer is probably the most versatile flavor we make, with that mix of spice and creaminess. It absolutely goes great with any well-made Burger (not those stamped out, prefab kind, that you would swear has sawdust as an ingredient, but the handmade, cooked to order, thick and juicy “better burger” that is fortunately making a comeback.

    The best bottled root beer I have ever had.

    There is a section that is called “goes good with” on this site, and it has very little listed.

    I have been drinking Boylans root beer as a treat on special occasions, and let me tell you the BEST way to enjoy this is with a small amount of heavy cream poured into the glass first, then add Boylans root beer afterwards. UNREAL!!!!

    Thanks for making a great product. I appreciate the taste and simple ingredients, rather than drink “chemical water” like the other brands. I hardly drink soda, but when i do its always Boylans.

    It has a great mouth feel and clean after taste without tasting chemically or medicine like
